Every Rawson home is backed by a Lifetime Structural Guarantee for as long as you own it*, giving you lasting peace of mind. Because it’s not just about building houses - it’s about creating a home that supports your life, now and into the future.
What is covered?
Our Lifetime Structural Guarantee is in addition to any statutory insurance, guarantee or home builder's liability scheme. This guarantee covers the structural failure of*:
Structural timbers and steel within wall and roof framing
The internal framework that shapes your home, supporting its structure and helping it stand strong over time.
Load-bearing brickwork
Key brickwork elements that carry the weight of your home, adding durability and long-term support where it matters most.
Foundation systems, including concrete and strip footings
The base your home is built on, designed to provide strength and stability from the ground up.

The Lifetime Structural Guarantee does not apply where, in the reasonable opinion of the builder, the Lifetime Guarantee Defect is caused or contributed to by:
- acts of God, natural disasters (including but not limited to -earthquakes, cyclones, fires, explosions, heavy rain, floods, landslides, lightning, storms, tempest, infestation of pests, drought or meteors), war, sabotage, malicious damage or terrorism;
- the owner’s misuse and or neglect of the dwelling or the land;
- land conditions, latent or otherwise, which are outside of the builder’s control;
- trees or shrubs growing near the footing of the dwelling;
- inadequate surface drainage where the owner has -undertaken landscaping works on the land;
- the owner’s failure to maintain a pest or termite prevention treatment program for the dwelling;
- the owner’s failure to maintain or repair or the improper use of the fittings or fixtures on the land including, drains, pipes, pits, plumbing works and electrical wiring;
the owner’s failure to maintain the dwelling and any other part of the land in accordance with CSIRO’s Guide to Foundation Maintenance and Footing Performance (including any revisions of the guide) and any other landscaping and drainage maintenance guidelines provided by the builder to the owner; or
- any renovations, extensions, alterations, substantial landscaping, excavation works, the addition of a pool or any other works undertaken on the land, at any time, by a party other than Rawson Homes.
Your Lifetime Structural Guarantee begins from the date your home reaches practical completion and lasts for as long as you own the land*.
If you're an individual:
The guarantee remains valid until either:
- You sell or transfer the land, or
- It ends upon your passing.
If the land is owned by a corporate entity or trust:
The guarantee will continue for up to 50 years from the completion date, or until the land is sold or transferred - whichever comes first.
The Lifetime Structural Guarantee is not transferrable and will end on the date the land is transferred to another person or entity.
