Build Better, Sustainably
At Rawson Homes, we focus on the things that matter most - our people, our communities and how we build for the future. It comes through in the way we create safe, inclusive workplaces where everyone feels supported, the role we play in giving back and staying connected to the communities around us, and the practical steps we’re taking to reduce our environmental impact. From how we support our teams onsite, to how we manage resources and design our homes, we’re building in better thinking every step of the way - so what we create, and how we create it, works better for our people, our customers and the wider community.

Key Achievements
We’ve been working together to create safe, inclusive places to work, stay connected with our communities, and care for the resources around us. Here’s a look at the positive steps we’ve taken so far.
What we’re doing now
We’re building better in more ways than one. Our approach is about creating homes and communities that feel good to live in today and into the future. From supporting safer, more inclusive workplaces to caring for our environment and giving back locally, we’re taking practical steps that make a real difference.

Reducing Onsite Waste
Working with Rowles Site Solutions and their waste and recycling services, we are keeping sites safer, reducing landfill and increasing recycling. From start to finish, materials are sorted and reused wherever possible - so your home is built with care for today and tomorrow.

Habitat for Humanity Partnership
Through our partnership with Habitat for Humanity, we’re working side by side to help create safer, more welcoming spaces for those who need them most. Our volunteering days give our people the chance to roll up their sleeves and make a real difference to local communities.

Low VOC Paints
We’ve transitioned to low VOC Dulux paints across all interiors and exteriors—helping create healthier spaces from the moment you move in. It’s a simple change that makes a real difference, improving air quality while delivering the same quality finish you can rely on.
Offsite Building Methodology
As a leader in modern construction, we’re making building smarter through offsite methods. By refining processes, reducing waste and improving consistency, we’re creating homes more efficiently - while delivering the quality and care families rely on, every step of the way.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
We’re creating a workplace where everyone feels they belong. With 52% of our team women, industry-first paternity leave, and a culture that celebrates different backgrounds, we’re building a more inclusive and supportive environment - together, every day.

Office Initiatives
Better workplaces start with small, shared choices. Together, we’ve reduced office printing by 65% year on year and 80% since 2023, switched to 100% recycled paper products, introduced coffee pod recycling, repurposed furniture locally, and chosen compostable, carbon neutral cutlery for everyday moments and celebrations.

Jobsupport Partner
Our partnership with Jobsupport is about creating real opportunities, together. By welcoming people with intellectual disabilities into our team, we’re building confidence, growing skills and shaping a more inclusive workplace - one that reflects our community and makes a positive difference, every day.

Our Partners
We work side by side with a trusted and reputable network of partners, each playing their part in helping us move towards our environmental and social goals - together, building a more responsible future.
